Alliance Aviation extends contract with BHP Olympic Dam

Alliance Aviation Services (ASX:AQZ) has extended its current contract with mining giant BHP (ASX:BHP) for the Olympic Dam arm in South Australia. 

The $466.13 million market capitalisation company has been providing services to BHP’s Olympic Dam site in South Australia since 2007 and has recently moved to an all-jet operation. 

BHP Acting Asset President Jenny Purdie says this partnership with Alliance Aviation has supported the company’s workforce to travel safely and reliably to the site. 

Alliance Aviation Services Managing Director Scott McMillan adds that this contract extension will allow it to continue to supply air services between Adelaide and Olympic Dam.

Alliance Aviation Services is a provider of contract, charter, and allied aviation and maintenance services. The company currently employs more than 1,400 staff. 

BHP is an Australian multinational mining and metals company headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria.
