Health and wellness specialist The Calmer Co (ASX:CCO) announces US practitioner supplements brand Metagenics has launched MetaSleep: a new product that uses the company’s Kavaton extract.

The product will be distributed in partnership with Australian herbal ingredients brand Network Nutrition. The Calmer Co and Network Nutrition have partnered together to bring Kavaton from its network of farmers in Fiji to the rest of the world.

Calmer Co’s Kavaton product is derived from its own brand FijiKava — the only foreign company sanctioned by the Fijian Government to operate in the kava industry — and is a dried superfood that helps reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep, and ease muscle tensions.

The MetaSleep proprietary formula includes Kavaton and melatonin.

Calmer Co Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anthony Noble says this launch has been the culmination of over a year of business development work with the Network Nutrition team.
